Just a quick thought, have you unticked the enable emoticons by mistake?

they aer all there when it says "show all" but not as clickable ones......

will run ccleaner in a bit see if it helps.

They've gone on mine as well in the manner in which you describe. I doubt therefore that there's anything wrong with your 'puter.

The 'Show All' thingy still works mind. :skip:

Don't panic, Mr Manwaring!

I was trying to reduce the 'loading' time of various pages and I think the loading of all smilies in the reply section may be slowing things down. So I have:

• removed a number of unused or rarely used smilies; and
  
• made all the animated/larger (file size) smilies available in the 'Show All' list but not on the clickable list.

You can still use the codes directly when typing your message instead of having to open the 'more' list. For example, type the following (without spaces):

: ) = :)
: D = :D
: p = :P
: o = :o
; ) = ;)
: thumb : = :thumb:
: excited : = :excited:
: blush : = :blush:

etc.

If it doesn't work out, I can always reinstate them! :grin:

have to say it does seem to enable all the pages to load quicker PR........it was starting to get quite slow - thought for a moment id gone onto dial up!!!!
